First thought:
I recently purchased the Sony BDP-S360, after they already have a PS3, and two Sony BDP-S350. The difference between the player and I noticed that the 350 preceding the sound quality for the 360, which is much better. The treatment of 360 is great, but so similar to the previous 350, which I can not vote spectacular. The front cover rotates the entire disk and slots open up a. I immediately noticed how SONY made cut-backs, such as remote control, “do not eject” button “, and also removed some other buttons on the remote. The player is fully functional and are signals from a remote or universal remote with the older model 350 all the functions on it just incase u want to take in order to use the eject button for remote operation, etc. You can always buy the remote control shown if you can not live with the remote control 360.
< , / br> Video Quality:
Blu-Ray playback is excellent, looks identical to the previous model 350. The DVD upscaling for me is simply “OK” again appears identical to the 350, then I see no improvement visible with the new Sony Precision Drive will be encouraged. I noticed that the video quality is improved when the DVD player’s video output has changed from “Auto” to “480″ when playing standard DVDs. The player also plays movies DVD-R copied correctly. The 360 has all the records that I put inside for BluRay, DVD, burn movies to DVD-R plays. < , / br>
Options / Extras:
This player does not support Netflix, Pandora, Amazon, or other features streaming video. Even if the player does not have an internal WiFi for updates or live bd. If U Want to internal wifi so you have to wait for the Sony BDP – S560.
Summary:
(Good)
The Sony BDP-S360 BluRay player is excellent for those looking for a solid big looking BluRay Player reproduced with excellent quality and built-in Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio via HDMI. LipSync No jagged edges or other problems. E ‘u throw everything perfectly even play DVDs copied. Add an audio receiver with HD and u have a movie in the making!

Standard DVD playback quality is good, but not the best. I compared with my old A35 Toshiba HD DVD player, my Xbox 360 and both were better than the 360, when it comes to playing DVD-quality characteristics. Remote no eject function and other functions without children.
, (Bottom Line)
The Sony BDP-S360 BluRay player is great, but there with all the competition, the more bells and whistles, it is difficult to recommend bid. However, if you are looking for a solid, very well maintained with excellent Blu-ray video quality, great sound, good dvd to superior quality and ejection function remote control, then this player is for you. I prefer movies-Sony CD player that is why I can buy. I would have rated this 5 stars, but only got 4 stars from the lack of basic EJECT WITH REMOTE CONTROL &; MUTE button (s). was used
; Note: The LCD of this review, the 52 “Samsung A650 120Hz.
I’m just going to the bottom line and start this player that works! If you are a beautiful, fully functional Blu-Ray, who works just as you would expect, everything that is thrown, which is buying a nice, safe. They have no problems upgrading from a standard DVD player.
Like many people, my first Blu ray on my Playstation 3, which I bought last year. If you do not already have a PS3, which is worth its point of view of a stand-alone player, because it costs a lot more Blu Ray (and DVD) well, and of course Playstation 3 games played.
I also played with getting a second, but decided a stand-alone player would be a bit ‘cheaper, and I have not really Playstation 3 seconds. (I also bought a Blu Ray for my computer so you can watch Blu Ray on it.)
Impressions S360:
Audio and prizes video. I can notice any difference from my PS3.
The device is physically small. And ‘even smaller of my two stand-alone DVD players (but the same width as regular stereo components, so fit in fine)
The unit is very quiet in operation more quiet compared my two stand-alone DVD player in action. I do not think I can do it at all only when the initial startup, loading a CD (and only if the room is dead silent) to hear. Interestingly, the impetus to seek the sounds to sound identical to drive in my Playstation 3! I’ll be shocked if they are substantially the same unit.
Remote is decent, I do not think Tivo remotes big part, but it works like any other (often perceived failure to eject button is a little ’surprising, but not really missed, because you get up in any case, and the eject button) is big enough. (And thankfully, unlike the PS3 remote, it is normal, infrared, Bluetooth is not so.)
The performances are very good. I think it takes a little ‘more than my imagination PS3/PC Last interfaces used to replace some disks (a few slices normal fast forward / rewind interfaces with their arguments interfaces and the port of loading also adds a few seconds before the first disk I have only on this run on two wheels, and is a kind of useless, but this player seems to look good). Rewind / fast forward on this is not quite as smooth as my Playstation 3, but works like a regular DVD player to expect.
Power consumption is very low – the unit says it draws a * MAX * of 22 watts during operation
take the boat . . . I too have not timed, but I think maybe 15 seconds. For me it is much faster, but in fact you can set the player to use more energy if it is “off” (basically, the fact is probable, it seems to boot faster cut). Players who claim to have faster boot times are probably just that same thing without having the ability to actually shut down the unit.
It has all the functions and interfaces that you would expect from a unit of this type, and is an excellent menu system that comes directly from 3 and PlayStation Portable is torn away (obviously if you have, along with the settings you want, you probably never really use the menu again, but it’s easier than any DVD player menu that I never used).
Unlike some players, which is not the internal memory to store the “BD Live internet functionality, but has a USB port, which makes a USB storage device these functions can get in touch. I have around a spare, but it is worth drawing this because I never use these functions. I think that Blu Ray has some great additions such as DVD, as the pop-up menu you can adjust the settings without having to re-enter the main menu, but the functionality of the Internet are quite gimicky me, and I’ve never used them. However, all these players that support if you care.
(unlike too many players this year, lacks support for online services like Netflix’s streaming service, etc. I do not use ’s (I use one disc Netflix service), and if I do, I have to use other devices to connect but if you check the views, is the best S360 Blu Ray, like other devices, and I am buying a good Blu Ray.
are likely to forget something that I want to mention, but honestly after the first paragraph out. If you’re like me and just want something that works without problems, this is a good choice.
I bought my first player, who a month ago after I have so many reviews that I could find. After going home and the installation that I had were all standard DVD to play. During playback, the image will leave a black screen, but the sound. This would last for 2-5 seconds and then return the image would be. This would happen constantly while playing all 10 minutes or so. I tried a couple different DVD and has done something the same for everyone.
So I turned on the player and thought I just had a defective product. I exchanged for another of the same type. I got this new unit and now I’ve had a few Blu Ray DVD from Netflix, groped for the player. The image and sound quality were fantastic and I had no problems with the image of neglect. This was a couple of weeks.
Yesterday I tried to watch another on a regular DVD player and guess what ‘. . . same problem as before, glitch anymore. So I turned the car around and try again with a different brand.
If you plan to only watch Blu Ray DVDs at a great unit. But if there were a collection of the normal DVD! Stay away
This was my first purchase in the world BluRay – and I was not disappointed, but in a way totally unexpected. The unit is sturdy, quiet, and running smoothly.
I was worried about the firmware updates, but so far there is no reason to update them – so there are no complaints. I ordered the BluRay disc (despite the ridiculous cost) of them, and they are spectacular.
Now for the surprise – my old DVDs are too spectacular. This DVD player lets you make pictures many times better than my old DVD player. The rear part, with the purchase of BluRay disks, I want my DVDs to one third of the cost. I never expected to buy a BluRay player, DVD watch – but it’s worth buying just for this.
The player is a bit ’slow when ejecting and loading, but I hear this is in all Blu-Ray. The device is simple to install and connect. Highly recommend this unit.
I bought this player as a upgrade’m great on my Samsung BD-P1000 and I must say I am very happy with this player. It ‘was very easy to setup and use. I have it connected to my Onkyo TX-SR705 with 7 1 set of speakers makes the loss of the audio decoder. Hearing of a movie in DTS-HD Master Audio is a real experience in particular the 7 state. 1 soundtrack. My only complaint (the smaller) is that you manually open and close the drawer by the player to run himself. This is another great Blu-ray player from Sony. I recommend you buy this player.
